TB Skin Tests in London, Ontario
London Travel Clinic provides reliable and efficient one-step and two-step TB skin tests for work, school, volunteering, and other requirements. Our experienced medical team ensures the process is quick and comfortable.
In the case of an abnormal result, our doctor will consult with you to explain the results and outline all available next steps and options.
Our TB Test Process
We offer two types of TB skin tests to meet your specific needs:
1-STEP TB TEST: This is the most common test and requires two visits.
Visit 1: The Tuberculin fluid (Tubersol) is administered via a small injection under the skin of the forearm.
Visit 2 (48-72 hours later): Our medical staff will read the test to determine the result and provide you with the necessary documentation.
2-STEP TB TEST: Often required for healthcare and long-term care workers, this process requires four visits in total.
It involves completing the entire 1-Step process twice, with the second test beginning at least one week after the first test was administered.

OHIP-Covered TB Tests: If your TB test is medically necessary, the test itself is covered by OHIP. An administrative fee of $20 applies when you require your results in any written format (e.g., completed form, printed copy, email, or fax). This fee covers the administrative service of preparing and transmitting your documentation.
