Scheduled Medical Appointments (London, Ontario) at London Travel Clinic

Our clinic is pleased to offer scheduled, OHIP-covered medical appointments. This service is designed to provide episodic care (similar to a walk-in clinic, but with the convenience of a booked appointment) and is intended for patients who are currently without a family doctor. We DO NOT accept walk-ins.

Our focus is on providing thorough assessment, diagnosis, and initial planning for key health concerns. This service is ideal for:

• Annual Physicals (Available only for patients who do not have a family doctor).

• Assessment & Initial Planning for chronic conditions (e.g., Hypertension, High Cholesterol, Diabetes, Osteoarthritis).

• Certain acute conditions: Rashes, Headaches, MSK injuries.

  
  

IMPORTANT CLINIC POLICY: Please Read Before Booking

Our goal is to provide high-quality, focused care. To ensure we can serve our target patients effectively, please be aware of the following policies:

1. EPISODIC CARE ONLY: Our clinic provides episodic care. We are not a family practice and cannot accept patients for long-term, comprehensive primary care.
   

2. PRESCRIPTION RENEWALS: We do not provide ongoing prescription renewals for chronic medications. We can provide a prescription as part of an assessment if appropriate, but you must arrange for ongoing refills and management with a dedicated primary care provider or re-book to be seen again for renewals.
   

3. CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES: For patient safety, our clinic does not prescribe or renew any narcotics (opioids), benzodiazepines (e.g., Ativan, Valium), or other controlled substances (Zopiclone, Zolpidem, ADHD medications)
   

4. PATIENTS WITH A FAMILY DOCTOR: Our OHIP-insured appointments are prioritized for patients in our community who are currently unattached (without a family doctor). We strongly encourage all patients who have a family doctor to see them for their care to ensure proper continuity.

5. NO FORMS: We do not complete forms (disability, work related absences, etc.).
   

All appointment requests will be reviewed by our team to ensure they fall within our clinic's scope of service.
